Project Women’s Shelter

The women’s shelter provides a safe place where the girls and women have the opportunity to
taking care of themselves and their children. Often they have experienced a profound event
which makes it (temporarily) impossible to return home. There will be a social worker
be present who conducts conversations with the target group so that work is done to process
the trauma suffered and resilience. In addition, the women and girls will have the opportunity
have to be economically independent by working in a sewing workshop. This will contribute to
self-assurance, resilience and economic independence of the target population. In addition, it is
also possible to work as a teacher or practice supervisor at the practice school.
